Course Offerings

If you are looking for affordable and intentional courses geared toward expanding and strengthening your craft, keep an eye on this new webpage, where I will soon post more information about various course offerings, including one-day workshops, craft talks + generative sessions + Q&As, 4-week and 6-week summer 2026 workshops, mentorship opportunities, and more!

For now, mark your calendar for two April 2026 workshops to celebrate National Poetry Month!

April 11 // 2-3pm CST (zoom)
Sing Don’t Say: Engaging the Page, the Song, & the Body

We’ve all heard (ad nauseam) Show Don’t Tell, but when poets sing the song only their body knows, we feel it. We’re moved. In a mini-craft talk + generative session, we’ll explore poems that know their own songs and consider the effects of our own music.

$25.00

Infecting the Text: Letting Trauma Take its Necessary Shape

Whether you’re exploring trauma or hoping for fresh perspectives on your most urgent themes, this two-hour craft talk + generative session + Q&A will give you the necessary permission and tools.

$50.00 ($30 for students)

Let’s Talk Embodied Sonnets
(mini-craft talk + generative Q&A)

We’ll consider the ways master poets like Terrance Hayes and Diane Seuss, et al, make the most recognizable fixed form their own with intention and purpose and explore how we might also rebel in the sonnet given our individual obsessions.
